Quilligans FC 10 v 0 Progress Properties Management

Quiligans once again showed PPM the foolishness of jumping from Division 3B to the Premier League, and maybe also reminded the League of the folly of the move as well. PPM arrived at Collins Park with just 10 men and the game was over after just 15 minutes as Quilligans swept in to a three goal lead after goals by Phil Thompson, Lee Broadbent and Danny Rowe.

Robbie Boal scored the goal of the match, a volley from a cross from the right and further goals from Swallow and Rowe put Quilligans 6-0 up at the break.

Half-time 6-0.

Further goals were added after the break - a brace from Jordan Spedding , Danny Rowe completed his hat trick and finally Lee Broadbent to make it 10-0. The referee having seen enough blew slightly early so everyone could get off to catch the Liverpool v Man. Utd game on the TV.

In summary, not the sort of game that really achieves anything. Quilligans don't like to hammer teams by double figures and it can't be much fun for the opposition who clearly should be still plying their trade in the lower leagues.

Full-time 10-0.
