Quilligans FC 2005/2006

Founded in 1987 by the waiters and chefs at the local Mammas Pantry on Topping Street, Backpool, Mammas FC have gone on to be the most successful side in the history of Sunday League Football. Since promotion to the Premier Division of the Blackpool and Fylde Sunday Alliance in 1992, they have won the championship twelve times, won the Gledhill Trophy nine times, the Melling Shield on nine occasions, and on top of that won the Lancashire Sunday Trophy twice, and were runners-up on one occasion.

After the 2003/2004 season, the long and successful association with Mammas Ristorante ended, and Mammas FC changed their name to Quilligans FC.
